North Parkway Assembly of God has something for everyone! Our ministries are based upon two things: 1) the needs within both our church family and our community and 2) the spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences of our members. We purpose driven, passionate about God, and strive to be a healthy and growing church.
King's Kids is a well established daycare that has a great staff of teachers and workers who provide excellent care, development, and age-appropriate education for all pre-school aged children. BELIEFS
The worship of God is our primary ministry, pursued with passion and offered in reverence with humility and joy. Ps. 5:7-8, 11-12; 22:3; 34:1-3; 100:4; Rom. 12:1; Heb. 13:15.
The Word of God is our final authority and source of guidance, calling us to a faith-filled, obedient, godly life-style. Heb. 4:12; Jas. 1:22-25; Rev. 22:18-19.
The biblically modeled family is God’s foundational social entity and is to be nourished and preserved as such. Fundamental to this value is the sanctity of marriage, biblical sexuality, and human life. Gen. 2:24; Ps. 139; Matt. 19:4-5; Mk. 10:6-9; Rom. 1:18-32; 1 Cor. 7:2; Eph. 5.
The ministry of the Church is to be conveyed through the means of maturing believers: equipped in the Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Is. 43:12, 44:8; Matt. 28:20; Acts 1:8, 22:15; Rom. 10:14-17; 2 Tim. 4:2; 1 Pet. 3:15.
To live is to give—in tithes, offerings, and all of life’s resources. We steward what we have been given of time, gifts, and finances, recognizing that these are from God’s hand, yet ours to obediently distribute. Gen. 28:22; Lev. 27:30; Prov. 3:9-10, Mal. 3:8-12; 2 Cor. 9:6-12.
The biblical gift of speaking with tongues as the Holy Spirit enables us is important for an effective life of prayer, praise, intercession, and personal edification, and is a desirable and an available gift for every believer. Mk. 16:17; Acts 2:1-4; Rom. 8:26; 1 Cor. 12:1-11, 14; Eph. 6:18.
