BELIEFS
The United Church of Christ is a confiliation of churches seeking to find unity in our diversity both as individuals and as congregations from a variety of backgrounds…we are very progressive, and some of us are a little conservative, some of us are more traditional (that's the German Reformed part of our history) and some are a little more "out there" (that's the Congregationalist part).
CHT is a reflection of that diversity theologically, though we are a little more homogeneous generationally and racially (but we would love that to change!). We believe our purpose is to fall in love with God in Jesus Christ, and to share that love with others.
