Meet The Pastor
Pastor Jerry Mullinax
Jerry and Norma were married in 1978. They have three married daughters and eight grandchildren. Jerry earned his bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina in 1990 and his master's degree from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1996.
The Mullinax's have served the Lord for over forty years. Jerry began as music minister at Calvary Baptist in Hendersonville, North Carolina in the late seventies. From there, Jerry served as assistant pastor at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina for ten years. EBC ordained and licensed him for the ministry. Then, he assisted Dr Roy Rector at Boiling Springs Baptist in Fletcher, North Carolina for ten years. Afterwards, Jerry was called back to Calvary Baptist as youth minister for a few years. In 2009, Little River Baptist in Penrose, NC called Jerry as it's music minister. Norma and he ministered there for seven years. Then in 2016, Shaws Creek Baptist in Hendersonville called Jerry as its pastor. And now, Jerry serves as senior pastor of West Hendersonville Baptist Church in Hendersonville.
