About First Presbyterian Church of McAlester
First Presbyterian Church of McAlester is a family of Christian disciples who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and serve only HIM in the Reformed tradition of the Christian faith. We serve people in McAlester and the surrounding area and reach out in love and service to all who are in need. We do this through worship, study and fellowship. We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. The future of First Presbyterian Church is to be a community where gospel transformation is happening through teaching the truth of God's Word.

We also livestream our services online each week on Facebook LIVE. You can connect either directly through your Facebook account by liking & following our page at First Presbyterian Church of McAlester or by going to our church website at: www. fpcmcalester.org and clicking on the FB Icon on any page to watch. Sunday School is held from 10:00-10:30 AM. You can join us for fellowship between 9:45 - 10:45 AM.
We also have Bible Study available on Tuesdays at 11:30 AM called "Lunch Bunch". You can bring your own lunch & fellowship with the others there for lunch until the video begins at 11:45 AM. You can also join via "Zoom" if you are not able to attend in person. Just call the church office & we can give you a number to dial in. We are taking a break until August 2022 when we will restart the Bible Study where we will begin watching Season 2 of "The Chosen". We just finished watching Season 1 and it is available to anyone who would like to borrow the CD's to watch before we start Season 2 in August. We will keep you updated on our website.
If you have no transportation to church and would like to attend, our Deacons have a ministry in which they will pick you up each Sunday for service and/or Sunday School. We have more information on our website at: www. fpcmcalester.org
