Pastor Joel Mason
Joel is the Lead Pastor at West Valley. He and wife Rene, planted West Valley 23 years ago in the Hillsboro area. Joel is a creative entrepreneurial type who always has a project going. He thrives on being outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Why am I a Pastor?
"It may seem like the expected answer, but it is the one that still overwhelms me – The creator of the universe cared enough for the creation that rejected Him that He made Himself in the image of His creation. He walked our sod, felt our pain, knew disappointment, experienced rejection and still loved enough to endure the cross. All of this so I could know life as I was created to know it! My only response could be to use how I was made, who I am, and what I can do to let Him be known to others. I believe I am best able to utilize all that I am at West Valley and that is why I do what I do."
