BELIEFS
We believe the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God, and that there is only one true God. God’s Son , the Lord Jesus Christ, is deity. We believe that man fell into a sin condition from the Garden of Eden, but that salvation is provided through the sacrifice of Jesus’ death on the cross, and that if we believe that He died for the remission of our sins, that we ask forgiveness and turn from our old life, and live a life of consecration to God because we are made new creatures in Christ, that we will go to Heaven when we die. We practice the Lord’s supper until Christ returns, we believe that every Christian should seek and accept the gift of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as in Acts 2:4, with the initial physical evidence of speaking in an unknown language unto God. We believe that Christians should seek to become more like God every day, sanctifying, or separating themselves from that that is evil, and dedicating themselves unto God., being in the world, but not of it. We believe that the Christian with all members of the Body of Christ, should be involved in the ministry in order to fulfill God’s purpose to seek out the lost people of the world and be an agency of God to bring the lost to God. We believe that divine healing is part of the Good News of the Gospel, and is the privilege of all believers. We believe in the blessed hope that we will all rise to meet Christ when the church is raptured, or caught up to meet Christ in the air, along with those who have already “fallen asleep,” after which we will return to the New Earth to reign together with Christ for 1,000 years. We believe that there will be a final judgment when whomever does not have their name written in the Lamb’s book of life, will be cast into hell with the devil and his angels, and the beast and the false prophet are cast into hell for eternity, while Christians will dwell with God in the new heavens and new earth.
