About Harmony Baptist Church
One of the truths revealed in the Bible is that the church is a community of people called out from the world to be sons of God. As sons of God, our primary responsibility is to bring GLORY AND HONOR TO GOD. One way to do this is to demonstrate God's love towards one another.
We rejoice in God's act of redemption and celebrate the fact that our redemption makes us not just friends of each other, but also children of God.

We seek to fulfill our part of the global mission mandate of our Lord Jesus Christ as we minister to our members and non-members in community outreach.
At present our Community Outreach include:
a) Food Distribution Ministry. We distribute food free of cost to approximately 50 families twice each month.
b) Day Care Ministry. Harmony Academy opens from 6AM through 6PM Mondays through Fridays. We are presently hoping to increase our capacity from 65 to 130 children from the community, and expose them to the teachings of God’s Word.
c) Media Ministry: Our Sunday Services are broadcast on Channel 96 twice weekly: Sundays at 7.00AM and Thursdays at 5:00 PM. Tapes and CD’s of these services are also available free of cost to anyone desiring them.
d) Women's Missionary Society: Our Women's Mission meeting are on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 1 pm to 3 pm.
MISSIONS
a) A special offering is collected every 4th Sunday and disbursed to the Grayson Baptist Association to assist with the Southern Baptist Missions programs, including Lottie Moon Foreign Mission, and the Annie Armstrong Local Mission.
b) Together with IGO (International Gospel Outreach) Baptist Missions, we recently opened a Bible School in Buchanan City, Liberia, West Africa. Each year IGO conducts a conference for the training of pastors, evangelists and other church workers.
c) As funds permit we contribute to:
1) We contribute to the I.G.O. Mission and our Sister Church in Liberia (Africa). This year we planning to drill a well to supply clean drinking water for the Buchanan community
2) Slavic Gospel Association, mission outreach to Russia.
3) Action International Ministries who sponsor Ministries to Developing Countries.
