Meet The Pastor
Pastor John Healy
John and his wife, Melissa, grew up in the Midwest (Iowa and Ohio, respectively). They met in college at Miami University where they both became Christians within a few months of each other. They’ve been married for 18 years and are the parents of twin sons, Duncan and Thatcher, freshman at Western Albemarle High School. John worked as a fundraiser in the non-profit sector for 15 years before responding to the call to pastoral ministry by enrolling in seminary in 2017. He graduated with his Master of Divinity in August 2020. The Healys moved to Charlottesville in 2007 and have lived in Crozet since 2014. They have attended Charlottesville Community Church (CCC) since 2009 and were part of the first membership class. In addition to leading various Community Groups, John led the Men’s Ministry Leadership Team for five years and Melissa worked on staff as the Operations Director from 2011-2018. John served on the CCC staff as a pastoral intern from May 2019 until June 2020.
