Our Mission
So that people far from God will be raised to life in Christ. That has been mission 45-50 years ago as it still is today, the mission has remained the same as our church has grown and changed.
We are a church fueled by great faith and we’ve seen God do things that only He can do – thousands of lives changed, marriages restored, families healed and hearts made whole.
Through the use of preaching, worship, and creativity, we strive to present the timeless message of Jesus in a clear and fresh way.

About Original Church of God
It is exciting for me welcome you into our church family. I would like to give a brief synopsis of how our church was founded to some of you who may not know how our church family gotten started.
Our Church building itself is approximately 100 years old built by the Seventh Day Adventist and purchased by the Original Church of God some 45-50 years ago the exact date is not known but could have been earlier.
Bishop Bill and Penny Dale were pastors of church for app 40-45 years and there were few who were pastors before this. Brother and Sister Dale were pastors and co-pastors together Brother Dale was Bishop and general overseer of the Original Church of God in Chattanooga, Tennessee, both are now deceased and living in their eternal home with the one who saved their soul.
Members cherish memories of going church here and who have been members for app 35-40 years are the many who came to youth rally over 200 are the many souls who got saved they talk of healings and miracles that have taken place here and spirit filled people who love to worship.
We teach, sing, and preach in each service as the spirit God leads, we believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
In several states this church is known for a wonderful testimony of helping those who are in need, a soul saving station and especially a place where visitors can come and feel welcomed.

Oversee the pastoral care needs of the congregation and, as necessary, share with other ordained ministers in hospital visitation, home visits, counseling, marriages and funerals.
BELIEFS
We proclaim that there truly is a God in heaven and that the family lives with Him in a premortal existence. We are God’s children. He loves us and has prepared a plan whereby through his son Jesus, we will enjoy blessings beyond this mortal life. These blessings include an immortal, glorious, resurrected body for all man kind and the opportunity to return to our Heavenly Father’s presence as eternal families for those who have faith in Jesus and are obedient to the conditions of His gospel.
