BELIEFS
We believe that the scriptures are the inspired and inerrant Word of God; (II Timothy 3:16; I Peter 2:2)
We believe that there is one God, eternal and self-existent, self-revealed and manifested to man as
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10-11; Mathew 28:19)
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. (John 1:1,14; Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:26.27; Luke 2:7; I Timothy 2:5)
We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood as a sacrifice for our sins; He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on High. (I Peter 2:24; Hebrews 9:11-14; I Corinthians 15:3-8; Acts 2:32-36; Hebrews 12:20)
We believe that man is justified by grace through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His work on the cross. (Ephesians 4:11-12; Romans 5:12-21)
We believe that water baptism identifies us with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. (Romans 6:3-9; I Peter 3:21)
We believe that members of the Body of Christ have been entrusted to carry the Gospel into the entire world. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)
We believe that the motivational, ministry and manifestational gifts are given to believers and need to be activated and exercised to fulfill their divine purpose within the Body of Christ. (Romans 12:1-16; Ephesians 4:1-12; I Corinthians 12:7-12 Acts 2:39; II Timothy 1:6)
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit wherein the Spirit is sent to gift each believer with their own prayer/praise language used to edify himself or herself and that such a baptism empowers the believer to be effective for the purposes of Christ. (Acts 2:39; I Corinthians 14:2,18; Jude 20; Acts 19:1-6)
We believe in a Theocratic form of church government according to Jeremiah 3:15, Acts 20:28-30 and Ephesians 4:11-15; AMEN
