BELIEFS
Bible
The Bible is God’s Word to all of humanity. It was written by human authors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is without error. It is the final source of authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit -- co-eternal in being, co-eternal in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.
Humanity
We are all made in the image of God and are the supreme object of His creation. Sin distorted this image, separating us from God and resulting in not only physical death, but also spiritual death.
Jesus
Jesus Christ was not only a good man and a good teacher, but he is also the eternal Son of God, born of the virgin Mary. Jesus entered into humanity and was without sin. In obedience to the Father, He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for all sin by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven and today intercedes on our behalf, as our advocate, and will return again to Earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal to the Father and the Son and is the supernatural change agent that makes us aware of our need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit also leads us to righteousness. Through faith in Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, we are sealed and gifted by the Holy Spirit to participate in the eternal story of redemption.
Church
The church consists of all who have been reconciled through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The church is not something we go to, nor is it something we do. Instead, the church is something we are. It exists to serve all people and bring adoration to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
