About Mount Cross Lutheran Church
Mount Cross is a Lutheran Church in Camarillo, California. We are pastored by an Episcopalian priest, The Reverend Julie Morris, who was installed at our church in November of 2019. We exist as a Christian congregation because we have been called together by God's Spirit and given the task of sharing with others the life saving Good News of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mount Cross is part of a tradition of worship and teaching that goes back to Martin Luther, and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (www.ELCA.org). We follow traditional Lutheran liturgy and offer two services: an 8:30 a.m. service with traditional hymns, organ, and weekly anthems from our Sanctuary Choir, and a 10:00 a.m. service with contemporary worship songs led by our Praise Band.
