We are biblically conservative (we trust the Word), non-legalistic, and Charismatic/Pentecostal. Salvation is by faith alone through grace alone, by Christ alone. We go especially deep into the Word using the original Hebrew and Greek versions of the Bible. We teach that the power of the Kingdom is available now and eternally. We encourage prophecy, words of knowledge, healing, miracles, tongues and interpretation--all in good order. We are spiritually uninhibited, but not weird. We are part of the Foursquare (Pentecostal) Association, the Alliance of Renewal Churches (ARC--a Charismatic Lutheran group), but are officially independent. We teach traditional marriage between one man and one woman. We are enthusiastically pro-life. We are conservative in our teaching, but contemporary in our expression. You don't have to believe what we teach to be welcome among us. We believe you have freedom of conscience. We offer holy communion almost every Sunday. We are not legalistic about baptism. We are not rigid on eschatology. We teach a lot on faith lived out in life principles: vocation, relationships, finance, health and strength. Our senior pastor is a Fulbright Scholar in New Testament and has published four books. We are "Presbyterian" (team/elder-led) in our church governance. We welcome women in all levels of leadership (egalitarians).
