About Hope Chapel
Hope Chapel was originally started in Manhattan Beach California by Pastor Ralph Moore. He left there in the early 1980's to begin a beach ministry in Hawaii. That ministry has grown to many many thousands and continues to plant new congregations. Ours was started by Ralph's Youth Pastor, Sumo Sato and Ralph's son Carl in 1990.
In 1999 Pastor Paul Leon and his wife Cheryl picked up the work and have remained since then. Cheryl is an accomplished photographer, while Paul is the Mayor of Ontario California.
Their ministry is about love, acceptance, strong Bible teaching and family. If you come here, get ready to be a part of our "OHANA", Hawaiin for "Family"
