BELIEFS
The Calvary Chapel Church has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. (John 14:6) Our Supreme Desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.(II Peter 3:18) We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their overemphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ. (I Cor 12:13) We believe that the only true basis of Christian Fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves as Christians. (Col 3:12-14)
Worship of God should be Spiritual (John 4:24) Inspirational (Ps 33, 146, & 150),
Intelligent (II Tim 2:15-3:16, Acts 17:11), , and Fruitful (john 15:5)
In the Triune God-Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Matt 28:1)
