Our Mission

“We live to elevate Jesus above all in every person’s life.” Why is our mission to elevate Jesus above all? We believe: The world is broken. God is restoring it. He calls us to join Him in the process. THE WORLD IS BROKEN. All you have to do is look around to know this is true. Murder. War. Natural disasters. Famine. Injustice. All of these terrible conditions (and more) exist now. Yet all of us ache for a better world. This ache speaks to there being something more….something beyond what exists right now. Just like hunger points to the existence of food and our need for it, what if our universal ache for a better world is a need that reveals a perfect world once existed? What if it also points to the existence of a perfectly loving God who is working to recreate that world, which was broken by our foolish decisions? What if God created us to experience His perfect love ruling our lives through an intimate relationship with Him? And what if we chose not to trust and submit to His leadership, because we decided we could do a better job of running our own lives?

About Elevate Christian Church

The world is broken. God is restoring it. He calls us to join Him in the process. That’s WHY we exist, which drives all that we do. We meet weekly on sundays to worship together and provide a space for everyone to belong. We meet weekly on Thursday nights to share a meal together and do life together. We frequently partner with the greater SLO community to work with local groups in serving.
