Our Mission
Trona Community Church is a community of faith who accepts Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. We follow His command to love God and our fellow person.
Our theological task is to encourage each member to live a life of prayer and be a student of he scriptures, that we may understand our Christian heritage enabling us to strengthen our faith in God and empowers us for mission at home and abroad.
Our mission goal is to be in the forefront of evry discussion involving moral and social issues interpreting them for the benefit of both the people within and without the church. We believe in pursuing dialogues with other denominations. To preserve its independence and objectivity, Trona Community Church refuses to be identified with any political party as it bears witness to the community and the nation.

About Trona Community Church
Trona Community Church (United Methodist) is the oldest church in Searles Valley. We are a small congregation, but large in spirit. Currently, we are lay-member lead, offering a traditional service twice a month including Communion on the First Sunday, and Bible study twice a month. We work closely with other churches in the valley to promote the Christian Church through all of it's denominations. Come as you are - you will find jeans and dresses alike.
