BELIEFS
John 3:16 tells us that God sent Jesus into the world to die for our sins in order that we may have eternal life. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
We believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God and that all the gifts available to the New Testament Church are available to us today. Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
Our Scriptural guidelines for operation in the gifts of the Spirit are the fruits of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control... Galatians 5:22-23. The gifts of the Spirit without the fruit of the Spirit brings glory to the individual, and not to Christ.
