About Grace Episcopal Church

Grace Episcopal Church is situated on the beautiful shoreline of Connecticut, in the historic town of Old Saybrook. Our location on Main Street in our town, reminds us we are in the heart of a local community and are called by God to make a difference in the area. We are active in numerous local and international outreach activities. Parishioners come from many locations throughout Connecticut, finding Grace Church their spiritual home. We are a friendly Christian Episcopal congregation and community, serving individuals & families along the Connecticut shoreline. We collaborate with other like-minded organizations to further a variety of missions in the local & global community, as part of God's call for us to share the healing love of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. Sunday Services are at 8:00 AM & 10:00 AM (followed by Coffee Hour and time of fellowship in our Parish Hall after the 10 AM service) Our congregation welcomes people of every age. On Sunday mornings during the school year, we provide Christian Education classes for young children up through High School age. Worship is a blend of music, both traditional and contemporary. As we gather together in Christian community, our principal service of worship is the Holy Eucharist. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive communion at Grace Church.

Grace Church is a Christian church in the Anglican tradition with historic roots in the Church of England. Our fellowship is characterized by a confidence in the authority of the Old and New Testaments, with basic beliefs summarized in the historic creeds of the Christian Church. We celebrate the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion in obedience to the teaching of Jesus Christ. We welcome worshippers from all denominations and those who are seeking a deeper relationship with God. We are a friendly community of Christians whose mission is to share the healing love of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.
