The Church:
Arise is a multi-ethnic multi-lingual congregation, welcoming all. This community is deeply committed to meeting people where they are and so the church has both an intentional online presence: offering online bible studies, book series and other internet ministries, as well as a radical community presence: holding monthly “Adopt a Block” days where we engage and serve our surrounding community.
Arise is committed to five key areas: Revolutionary Spiritual Growth, Reclaiming the Arts, Restoring the Family, Relevant Education and Radical Evangelism. Our core beliefs can be summed up in one word: Love. We believe that God’s love triumphs everything. We believe that healing and wholeness happen in the presence of God’s love. We believe that all things work together for the good of those who love God. We believe that all were created through love with purpose and that only through accepting the love of Christ can that purpose be fully understood. Lastly, we believe that its God’s love that connects us to each other and holds us responsible for our brothers and sisters.
