BELIEFS
Salvation is a gift given freely of God. You did nothing to deserve it and you could never do enough to earn it.
Salvation is deliverance from the grasp of sin by the shedding of the blood of Christ and your accepting Him as your Lord and Savior.
Romans 10:9 tells us: “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Salvation can take place anywhere. You can be in a car, walking down the street, in prison, on your death bed or at the altar. Wherever you are when you receive Christ into your heart is where you receive salvation.
“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.” (Rom 6:23) We are all born under the sin of Adam thus born unto death. Salvation through Christ Jesus is the only way to avoid the penalty of that sin and our own sins.
If you would like to know more about receiving Christ into your heart, feel free to contact our church at (407) 847-3500 and someone will be delighted to talk with you.
