About United Methodist Temple Church
United Methodist Temple Church is a United Methodist church in Lakeland Florida. We are an inclusive and welcoming church for all people. We offer Adult Sunday School at 9 am and Children's Sunday School at 10 am. We offer weekly Bible Study on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm and a men's Bible Study on Wednesday mornings at 7:15 am.

We believe in a triune God consisting of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus is God incarnate, born of the virgin Mary. Jesus was fully human and fully divine. He was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third (3rd) day, he rose and ascended into heaven, where he sits at the right hand of the Father. We believe in the Holy Spirit who lives within us, guiding and directing us in the ways of God's grace. We believe God's grace is manifested in prevenient, justifying, saving, and sanctifying grace, which transforms us into disciples of Jesus Christ, where we are the body of Christ for the world.
