Our Mission
1. Preach the Gospel to every creature,
2. Baptize those who receive the Gospel, and
3. Teach believers to obey what Jesus commanded.
The vehicle Jesus gave to fulfill this mission is the church. It is exciting to see people trusting Jesus Christ as their Savior, following Him in believers’ baptism, and growing spiritually to be more like Christ. As we go get others saved, baptized, and teach them God’s Word, we are obeying our Lord’s command and fulfilling our mission as a church (Matthew 28:19-20).

Volusia County Baptist Church is a Bible believing church which strives to impact our area with the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8). Our church selects and supports missionaries who will partner with us to reach the lost around the world (Mark 16:15). As an independent church we do not have a denominational headquarters. We depend upon the Holy Spirit for power and leadership in our ministry (Acts 13:1-3). The exciting ministry of music from the choir and orchestra seeks to glorify God and prepare hearts for the preaching of God's Word.

We believe in the verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures.
We believe that the Bible reveals God, His creation, the fall of man, the way of salvation, and God’s plan and purpose in the ages.
We believe in one triune God who reveals Himself in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity, virgin birth, substitutionary death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that salvation is “by grace” plus nothing and minus nothing. The conditions to salvation are repentance and faith.
We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We believe in the visible, personal, pretribulational, and premillennial return of Jesus Christ to rapture believers out of the world. We believe in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
