About Trellis Church
Trellis Church is a collection of gatherings. While the gathering is our primary expression of church, we also come together on select Sunday nights to equip one another for ministry. We follow Jesus together and aim to be loving, disciple-making disciples. As a member of the Tampa Underground, we have microchurches, which we call gatherings, that meet on various days. Each gathering is the full expression of the church as seen in the book of Acts with worship, community, and mission. Once a month, we meet for a worship night or fun event, often at the beach or a bonfire. Twice a month, on Sunday nights, we meet for worship & a discipleship class. This is a time of worship, teaching, & discussion.

BELIEFS
WE BELIEVE THAT THROUGH JESUS CHRIST ALONE WE FIND OUR REDEMPTION.
Jesus came as a human born of a virgin, ministered to humanity, died sinlessly, raised from the dead, ascended to heaven, and is coming back.
Jesus is fully God and fully human.
God is one triune God, the eternal Trinity, Three equal persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each pointing to the other, never self-glorifying
WE BELIEVE OUR SALVATION BEGINS WHEN WE TRUST CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR.
Salvation is necessary because of the fall.
Out of gratitude for what Christ has done, we set aside our desires to pursue only God's desires. We long for God's will to be done.
We learn God's desires through the revelation of the Holy Spirit which is validated by Scripture and confirmed by the community.
SPIRIT TRANSFORMED
We are being transformed by the Holy Spirit into the image of Christ.
SPIRIT EMPOWERED
We are empowered by the Holy Spirit through prayer to witness to all to make disciples.
In everything else, that is anything not essential for salvation, we respect each other's opinions and do not engage in argumentative or divisive attitudes.
