Oceans Unite is a Church that is built on prayer. Prayer is our foundation and where we get direction and strength. We believe the future of our nation is on the lips of a praying church. We are in weekly prayer for our Nation, our city and our community. We also take praying for our congregation very seriously and make sure that the whole church is under a prayer sheild.
Isaiah 56:7 NKJV
Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations"
A Tabarnacle Of David
Acts 15: 6 tells us that God is rebuilding the Tabernacle of David. We belive this is essential to what the Lord is doing here at Oceans. One of the main aspects to the Tabernacle was that it had pure passionate worship. King David had a heart for the Lord and we see this in his heart to please the Lord. Worship was a big part of this. God never instructed David to do this David did it on his own accord in his desire to please the Lord . One of the Keys to it was the order in which, David followed and Then God really blessed it. At Oceans, we have a heart to worship God. Our Worship expression is not one of entertainment but rather an expression where we as a church come together and Worship our God together in Spirit and in Truth.
The Word and the Spirit
The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 3:6 ..."for the letter kills,but the Spirit gives life." The Truth is that Jesus is the Word and had the Spirit without measure. Balance and order is the Key. Here at Oceans, we know and understand that we need both the Word and the Spirit. Jesus came to give us life and life abundantly. We believe in Teaching the Word and equipping the people with as much knowledge as we can. Hosea 4:6 says "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge." We also believe that the Word must be alive and so we allow the Holy Spirit to move in our service. " both the Word and the Spirit" We agree with the words of Paul the Apostol in 1 Corinthians 14:40 "Let all things be done decently and in order."
The Heart of the Father
God is our Father and we are overwhelmed by His great Love for us. At Oceans, this is of the upmost importance to us. We desire that every person discover the love of the Father. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, we see what this love looks like. It is kind, patient, thinks no evil, is not puffed up, never fails and so much more. Everyone has a past and many of those pasts are painful. Jesus came to give us life and Love and we make that love a priority.
Change our City
We are commited to making a difference in our city by reaching out and impacting our community. You don't have to look far to find people in need. As a church, we want to meet that need. By helping in all aspects we will not settle for anything less than a city that belongs to Jesus.

Oceans Unite is under the leadership of Pastor Alex Pappas and the oversight of Pastor Harold Weitsz of Little Falls Christian Centre and Five Fold Ministries International in South Africa. This church has been birthed out of a vision from the Lord to see people encounter a living and loving God that wants to have an intimate relationship with us. We want to know God as He truly is in every part Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We want to see people step into their purpose and their destiny. Here at Oceans we believe in not only preaching what Jesus said but also doing what He did through a demonstration of His power and love. Everyone is welcome regardless of where you come from or what your status is.
