To proclaim the ancient faith, celebrate the sacraments with an open table, and extend the mercy of God to every person without exception.
Saint Francis Parish and Outreach exists to proclaim the ancient Catholic faith with clarity and joy, to celebrate the sacraments with reverence and welcome, and to extend the mercy of God without exception to every person who comes through our doors or crosses our path on the street. We serve those who have been excluded, forgotten, or told they do not belong. We feed the hungry, walk with the homeless, welcome the immigrant, and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ person as a beloved child of God. We do all of this in the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi, who found Christ not in the corridors of power but in the faces of the poor.

Saint Francis Parish and Outreach is a Franciscan Old Catholic parish gathering every Sunday at 3:00 PM at 557 Greene Street in Augusta, Georgia. Rooted in the ancient Catholic tradition and the historic Church of Utrecht, we celebrate the Holy Eucharist, practice open communion, and welcome everyone, LGBTQIA+ persons, immigrants, those who have been hurt by other churches, cradle Catholics, and seekers of every background. We are not Roman Catholic and not Protestant. We are an apostolic Catholic community shaped by the humility and joy of Saint Francis of Assisi. Our outreach ministry serves those experiencing homelessness and poverty in the Augusta area. All are welcome. No exceptions.

Saint Francis Parish and Outreach holds the ancient Catholic faith of the undivided Church. We confess the Nicene Creed without the Filioque, celebrate all seven sacraments, and practice open communion. We stand in apostolic succession through the historic Church of Utrecht and are not Roman Catholic, not Protestant, and not part of the Union of Utrecht.We believe in the Trinity, the full divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ, the bodily resurrection, and the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. We receive Sacred Scripture as interpreted through the tradition and the Seven Undisputed Ecumenical Councils.We believe every human being is made in the image of God without exception. We celebrate marriages for all couples, welcome LGBTQIA+ persons fully into the sacramental life of the Church, and extend the open table to all who seek the grace of God in faith.Rooted in the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi, we believe the Gospel calls us to the poor, the marginalized, and the forgotten. Worship and service are not separate things for us.
