First Baptist Church

We are a multigenerational and multi-ethnic congregation, seeking to love and worship God together, to love and serve people, to disciple people of all ages, and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Some of the ways that we seek to minister within our community and beyond are: "English as a Second Language" classes, our Accredited Pre-School and Mother's Day Out, our Food Pantry, an annual "Feed the Need" Thanksgiving Meal, Mission and Service projects by youth and adult groups, Missional music programs by FBCD groups within the community and beyond, Sponsoring new church plants (in Duluth Minnesota, Metro Atlanta, Mexico, and India), and Mission trips within the United States and beyond. We also host a New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Extension, with classes in our state of the art Ministry Learning Center, dedicated in memory of our Pastor Emeritus, Rev. Dick Baker.
