Our Mission
The avowed purpose of this church shall be to worship God, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to celebrate the Sacraments; to realize Christian fellowship and unity within this church and the Universal Church; to render loving service toward all and to strive for righteousness, justice, and peace.
Our church today is excited to see how the Lord will use Zion Christian Church throughout Carpentersville, IL and the surrounding areas. Though, we have seen a great deal of change over the years, Zion Christian Church will always be a friendly church family that enjoys working and serving together. Our love for the Lord will never cease and we will always hold to the truths found in the inspired Word of God.

BELIEFS
FAITH. This church proclaims faith in the one God who has revealed Himself in Jesus Christ. It acknowledges as brothers in Christ all who accept Him as their Lord and Savior. It looks to the Word of God in the Scriptures, and to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to prosper its creative and redemptive work in the world. It claims as its own the faith of the historic Church expressed in the ancient creeds and reclaimed in the basic insights of the Protestant Reformers. It affirms the responsibility of the Church in each generation to make this faith its own. In accordance with the teaching of our Lord and the practice prevailing among evangelical Christians, it recognizes two Sacrements; Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We affirm as one expression of this faith the "Statement of Faith" of Zion Christian Church.
