Surrendering all of life to Jesus and inviting others to do the same
We exist to glorify God by surrendering all of life to Jesus and inviting others to do the same in the power of the Holy Spirit. We put this mission into action through our Community Practices: Believing the Gospel, Living as Family, Loving as Servants, Going as Messengers, Relying on the Spirit. We do this so that as the family of God we can show and tell the good news to every man, woman, and child.

About Good News Church
Need some good news? That's what we are all about. The Bible tells us about a guy named Jesus who said he had a message of good news. Our desire is to let this good news shape and transform our lives. We try to do three things well: 1) following Jesus, 2) community, 3) making a difference.
We are an Evangelical Free Church (EFCA) meeting in the Dorr Township Community Room (same building as the Woodstock Food Pantry, right across from Niko's).
If you decide to check us out, you can expect to be welcomed by a group of caring people. We open the Scriptures (the Bible) together in order to learn more about Jesus.

Small Groups
We organize our life together around three settings: 1) We GATHER as a church family for worship gatherings; 2) We GO on God's mission with a Gospel Community; 3) We GROW in our knowledge and love of God in a Gospel Fluency Group.
Gospel Communities are at the core of what we do. In Gospel Communities, we keep the gospel at the center which forms us into a community that seeks to show and tell those around us about the good news of Jesus.
