Welcome to Sugar Grove Bible Church!
We are an inviting & warm country church with big hearts and an even bigger God. As a non-denominational church, we are firmly rooted in the inspired truth of God's Word, embracing the love and principles of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, with the power and might of the Holy Spirit. We have a wonderful fellowship of believers with a heart to know their Heavenly Father. Our 9am Sunday School provides a delicious breakfast made with love (those biscuits and gravy Grandma makes) with a message taught from Derek Prince's arsenal of books (a book will be provided for you). Following that is our regular service that starts at 10am. Our Praise and Worship combines those classic hymns of old with contemporary Christian songs that uplifts the spirit and honors our King! Pastor Steve or Deborah Hickey then gives a message from the Word that you can apply to your daily life and see real growth in your faith and walk with Jesus. We have a wonderful Kids church that children can choose to go to during the service. Lots of planned activities and teachings they can use to help them see how much Jesus loves them and chose them to be set apart and used by God in every way. Join Us This Sunday! Our Beliefs:
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, providing a trustworthy rule of faith and practice.
There is one God who eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is God’s Son, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, willingly took upon Himself all our sins, died and rose again bodily, and is at the right hand of the Father. He will return soon to fulfill the eternal plan of God.
All people are created in God’s image, having great value and dignity, but separated from God by sin.
Salvation cannot be earned through personal goodness or human effort. It is a gift that must be received by humble repentance and faith in Christ and His finished work on the cross.
The indwelling presence and transforming power of the Holy Spirit gives to all believers a new life and a new calling to be an obedient, Christ-like servant.
All believers are members of the Body of Christ, the one true Church throughout the world.
