The preaching of the word and sound, doctrinal teaching is the focus at Cornerstone. Religious formalism quenches the Holy Spirit of God, but we also believe that the mega-church philosophy, concert/party atmosphere, and entertainment based worship style so popular with many churches grieves him. We emphasize personal holiness, the old hymns of the faith, and the importance of drawing near to God. We believe in getting the Gospel around the world by sending and supporting many missionaries. We are actively involved in getting the Gospel to our own local community. We strive to please the Lord and represent him well every day in our words, attitudes and behavior. Come join us sometime.

About Cornerstone Baptist Church
We are an Idependent, Bible believing Baptist Church in Winchester, Indiana. We bow our opinions in everything we believe, teach and do to the King James Bible as the infallible, inerrant word of God. We seek to change our thinking by the Bible, not to change the Bible to match our thinking.
We unapologetically preach and stand for, not our own message or pet teachings, but the clear message of the Scriptures - that all are sinners deserving of eternity in Hell, but God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. Salvation from sin and Hell is a free gift. You cannot earn it by good works. God offers this salvation to ALL who will repent of their sin and trust Jesus Christ and him alone as their personal Lord and Saviour. Are you saved?

We believe that repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and his Sacrifice for sin is the only way to be reconciled to God, escape Hell, and get into Heaven.
