OUR MISSION
ABOUT KENDALL SPRINGS CHURCH OF CHRIST
We are a group of people who meet together at the building on Kendall Springs Road to worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). We worship together as a non-denominational group as we recognize Jesus as the head over all things to the church (Ephesians 1:22). We use the BIBLE's pattern for the church, basing everything we do on Biblical instruction. While we study both the Old and New Testaments, the New Testament is recognized as the covenant by which Jesus directs his people today (Hebrews 1:1-2).

BELIEFS
Fortunately the path to accepting God's gift is clearly spelled out in the BIBLE.
First, we must HEAR the word in order to know the path that must be chosen. Someone must teach us this path, or we must discover it through our own studies of the BIBLE . . . Secondly, we must BELIEVE that Jesus is Christ, the son of God. In John 8:24, Jesus says, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins." We must REPENT of our sins. Acts 3:19 says, Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord CONFESSING our belief in Jesus is part of this journey. Jesus says in Matthew 10:32, "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven." BAPTISM is essential. Acts 2:37-38 reads, Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Upon hearing the word, these people believed it and wanted to know WHAT TO DO - they had an active belief. Peter told them what they must do - be baptized. HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD. Our old life is gone, and we can begin anew. We strive to choose good over evil and walk with God. Ephesians 2:10 says, For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
WHAT A GLORIOUS GIFT WE HAVE WAITING FOR US IF WE WILL JUST OPEN OUR HEARTS TO IT AND ACCEPT IT!!
