BELIEFS
Statement of Beliefs
1. We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. (Matt 24:35, Jer 23:29, Psalm 119:105)
2. We believe that God is triune, three Persons in one Godhead, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matt 28:19)
3. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus. (Matt 1:23-25)
4. We believe in the crucifixion of Jesus for the sins of the world and His literal and physical resurrection. (1 Pet 3:18, Matt 27:35, Matt 27:52-54)
5. We believe that salvation is by the grace of God through faith by the blood of Jesus. (Eph 2:8, Eph 1:7)
6. We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. (Matt 28:19)
7. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost as a separate, distinct, and subsequent experience to salvation, followed by the initial evidence of speaking in an unknown tongue. (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-4)
8. We believe in divine healing and all who meet the conditions taught in the Bible can enjoy perfect wholeness in their body. (Mark 16:17-18, Matt 8:14-17, Matt 10:7-8)
9. We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to support the ministry of the Gospel and should do so regularly as the Lord has prospered him or her, giving with a cheerful heart. (Mal 3:3, Mal 3:10)
10. We believe that the final and eternal destination of the believer is Heaven. The final and eternal destination of the unbeliever is Hell (separation from God). (Rev 20:11-15)
11. We believe in the literal, physical, and imminent return of Jesus Christ to Earth prior to His millennial reign of 1000 years. (Rev 19:11-13, Rev 20:6)
12. By no means do we believe in eternal security or "once saved, always saved". (Eze 18:20-24,26)
13. We believe that marriage is defined as a holy union, recognized by God, between one man (born genetically and physically male) and one woman (born genetically and physically female). (Gen 2:21-24, Gen 1:27-28, Gen 2:18, Matt 9:4-6, 1 Cor 7:2)
