About Grace Harbor Lighthouse Church of God
Begun in 1994, Grace Harbor has a rich history of leading people to the Lord. God has always blessed us to reach the lost and the hurting. Affiliated with the Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, we are a Spirit-filled church located approximately 5 miles North of Lake Charles, Louisiana in the rural community of LeBleu Settlement. We are about a 15 minute drive from Lake Charles. (A church ALIVE is worth the DRIVE!).
We truly are a "safe refuge from the storms of life" to many people. Our mission is to simply to "show, tell, and demonstrate the love of Jesus to as many people as we can." We have both Sunday morning , as well as Wednesday night Bible Study and Youth Service.
Our dress is usually casual (except for the Pastor), so you can come just as you are and fit right in. The music is up-lifting and the preaching is the uncompromised Gospel. We tend to focus more on our young people as being a priority for us, as the church is the only place left in our society where the youth can still be taught morals and values, andl, of course, to learn the story of Christ and His love.

Youth Ministries every Wednesday at 6:30. We have "Women's Ministry" the 3rd Sunday at 5PM. We have a feeding pantry outside open to all.
We are fairly casual and laid-back but very real in our efforts to worship the Lord. Everyone is someone very important in our church. Every individual is appreciated and we all stand on equal footing in the eyes of the Lord.
The music is a blend of traditional and contemporary. Many times, the Spirit falls in the middle of our worship and we simply basque in His presence. The preaching is a "no-nonsense, Bible-based" message straight from the Bible. Pastor Batchelor pulls no punches, but always laces his sermons with love and compassion. No one is ever judged in our church for their past...or even their present, as God is the only judge. We all admit our many faults and failures and simply encourage one another to "press toward the mark" Jesus has set before us!
BELIEFS
We are a Full-Gospel, Trinitarian Pentecostal church open to all. We believe holiness to be God's standard. We do not embrace "eternal security", but feel our salvation is secure in Christ if we continually repent and continually confess our sins to God. We believe in the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" as another grace given to all believers who seek up...yet we do not feel it is necessary for salvation.
