Awakening people to life with Jesus.
Awakening people to a life changing relationship with Jesus, and equipping them to awaken others.
ABOUT AWAKEN CHURCH
We are a new church startup, where Jesus is the subject and everyone is welcome (and we mean EVERYONE)! Our worship gatherings are very casual, with contemporary music, and we invite all to come as you are. We go deeper into the Bible together, and seek to live out what we're learning in practical ways in our families and in our community. There is a lot of participation from NSU students, as they help keep the energy level up as we connect and grow with the families in Natchitoches. We are a diverse community of authentic love and hope, where you can belong as you change, and change as you follow Jesus. And meeting in a movie theater means we have the most comfortable seats in town! Our Kids' Adventure Club meets at the same time as the worship gathering.

BELIEFS
Jesus is the subject. The Bible is our go-to resource on all of life's questions. Loving our neighbors is more important to us that proving who's right. All have sinned, and fall short of God's glory, but in Jesus and with the strength of His Holy Spirit, we can live free from that sin. Followers of Jesus are to be His hands and feet in this world, right here and now.
