About Wakefield Valley Bible Church
Wakefield is a small, rural, Christ-centered church in New Windsor, Maryland, just a short drive from Westminster.
You might be wondering, “Why should I visit Wakefield?” Great question! Let me give you two simple reasons.
First, Wakefield isn’t just a congregation—we are a family. When you visit, you’ll be welcomed as an honored guest. As you continue to come, you’ll find a church family that prays together, cares for one another, and grows together in faith.
Second—and most importantly—our focus is on Jesus Christ. Rather than being driven by politics or trends, we gather to worship and serve Him. Everything we do revolves around knowing Christ, following Him, and living out His truth in everyday life. You’ll hear the Bible taught clearly and applied practically.
I hope to see you this Sunday. Our morning service begins at 10:30 AM, and we offer a kids’ church program as well as a nursery.

BELIEFS
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
God is one Being, eternally existing in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
Jesus, God the Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He is fully God and fully man. Having lived a perfectly obedient life, He died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead three days later, and now sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven. (John 1:1-19)
The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, and indwells, enlightens, and instructs believers. (John 16:7-15)
Sin has been passed down to all generations since Adam and Eve’s first sin. All mankind needs a Savior. That Savior is Jesus Christ. He has made our salvation possible through His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is not by good works but through personal faith in the Lord Jesus. (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9)
