St Paul's United Church of Christ Disciples of Christ

1. Radical Hospitality & Belonging
"No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here."
Belief: God’s grace is unconditional. You don't need to have life figured out, pass a faith "test," or come from a specific background to sit at God's table. Belonging comes first.
2. Faith Expressed Through Action
"The Little Church That Does"
Belief: Faith isn't just something to talk about on Sunday mornings; it’s meant to be lived out every day. Loving your neighbor means rolling up your sleeves to serve—whether that’s through the food pantry, mission projects, or supporting one another in hard times.
3. "God is Still Speaking"
A core United Church of Christ principle
Belief: God’s truth wasn't locked away centuries ago—God continues to speak to us today through scripture, community, love, and living in the modern world. Questions, doubts, and honest wrestling with faith are welcomed, not punished.
4. Unity Over Uniformity
"United in the Church of Christ"
Belief: We don't all have to look the same, think the same, or agree on every detail to walk together in love. As an Open & Affirming, dual-fellowship church (UCC and Disciples of Christ), unity is found in Christ’s love and shared mission, not in rigid rules.
5. Grace Across Generations
Belief: Church is a family where older wisdom and young energy come together. Everyone—regardless of age, identity, or stage of life—has gifts to contribute to the body of Christ.
