About South Oaks Community Church
Contemporary worship with some hymns, relevant teaching from the Bible, casual dress, and friendly people. ASL interpreted. We give to missions and missions projects, the local food shelf and shelters. Our desire is to see all people set free from the hindrances of the past, filled with the Holy Spirt, find their gifts and abilities and become all God created them to be. Free gift for all first time visitors.

BELIEFS
We believe the Bible is God's Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. The Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man and is the only one who can reconcile us to God.
We believe sin has separated each of us from God and His purposes for our lives. In order to receive forgiveness we must repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ and submit to His will for our lives.
We believe God has equipped us as His living body so that we can achieve His purpose for our lives, which is to worship God, be equipped and empowered to do His will in our lives and share the good news with those around us. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the gifts of the Spirit, are for believers to be able to follow Jesus and to reach their sphere of influence for God.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised and will rule and reign on this earth.
