St. Paul Lutheran Church is a Lutheran church in Jackson Missouri. We believe the Bible is God's Holy Word and the only source for religious truth and a godly life. Our worship style is a blend of traditional and contemporary. We enjoy our rich Lutheran liturgical heritage, but also enjoy worshiping using some of the new and beautiful contemporary songs.

BELIEFS
We believe...the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God, without error, revealing the love of God and His plan of salvation for a broken world. 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; John 3:16.
We believe...there is one single God, eternally existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is a mystery we call the Holy Trinity. Matthew 28:19; John 3:16-17; John 5:39; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4-6; Hebrews 11:1-3; Acts 4:12;1 Corinthians 12:3.
We believe...in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is both 100% true God and 100% true Man. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His ever nearing return in power and glory, at which point He will rule the universe for all eternity. We believe...that every person, everywhere, who has lived on this globe is lost and faces the judgment of God. Yet, not wanting anyone to be condemned, God the Father came to us in the person and work of Jesus Christ, that all who believe in Him might obtain the only, single, way of salvation. Being justified by Jesus, the Holy Spirit calls us to repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ, and furthermore restores our relationship with God, sanctifies, and seals us in the promise of eternal life. We believe...in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God's forgiveness in His Son. 1 Corinthians 15:51-57; Revelation 20:11-15.

We believe...in the spiritual unity of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the church. 1 Corinthians 12:12, 27; Ephesians 1:22-23.
We believe...that the ministry of evangelism (sharing and proclaiming the message of salvation is only possible by grace through faith in Jesus Christ) and discipleship (helping followers of Christ grow up into maturity in Christ) is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ.
