Pastor Steven C. Wood
Meet the Pastor:
Pastor Steve, as lead Pastor, loving husband, committed Father and faithful friend leads the growing congregation of Celebration of Praise A/G (COP) in Kansas City, MO. He and his wife, Patti have pastored at COP since 1996.
After retirement from the Air Force they moved to Springfield Mo, to attend Central Bible College where Steve graduated with a BA in Pastoral ministries with a minor in Counseling. Pastor Steve and Patti have been in ministry as lay leaders and youth pastors since 1976. Because of their military background they have been able to serve the lord in many parts of the World.
Patti is currently the director of Children’s Ministry and Missionettes. She raised three daughters (with some help from Steve) who are now 44, 38 and 36 years old. So far we have been blessed with six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Steve married his childhood sweetheart in 1970 and they are still madly in love. He loves to ride motorcycles, play racquetball, read and spend time with his best friend Patti. Both, Steve and Patti are looking forward to meeting and helping you to become part of COP.
