Second Baptist Church of Greater St. Louis

We are progressive. Second Baptist chooses to look forward with confidence that God is indeed building a Kingdom where we are citizens who practice grace, love and mercy. We are open in membership, communion and in acceptance. We believe that all people are children of God and it is our privilege to accept anyone who comes into our fellowship. We are historically Baptist, champions of individual rights, freedom of religion, freedom of conscience and separation of church and state. We are a member of American Baptist Churches USA. We are committed to serve our world, caring for the poor, reaching the lost, and challenging systems that neglect the least among us. We name Jesus as Lord. Not only did he die for us, but he lived for us as well. We believe that Jesus' teaching are significant and that we are called to follow Him as He leads us to live lives that reflect His love and grace.
