Our Mission
To Know Jesus and Make HIM Known
Philosophy of Ministry
God (Yahweh) Directed/Team
I believe in working in team. Seeking God’s direction together and making a decision together for the direction of the church is the way that I feel is safest for the church. The reasons are as such:
Everyone has a voice to be heard not just one person’s desires
It makes it easier to walk humbly with others than pride fully create one’s own kingdom
It develops servant leaders not controlling leaders
All leaders walk together in a united front with a single mind
This also carries over into the preaching/teaching area. It is important if others are available to share the pulpit with a group of elders/deacons to teach the flock. It protects the flock in case something were to happen to the “lead pastor”. The congregation is familiar and accepting of others teaching.
Relational
The body of The Messiah Jesus (Yeshua) must be relational. God is relational and we see this evidenced in His Son Jesus. Jesus was loving and reaching out to others no matter what their circumstances were. He touched their lives with His love. He would sacrifice Himself in many ways to express His love and the truth of God with others.
When we take the time to invest in the lives of others, we show them we care and desire their friendship and value their lives. It is when we are relational with others that they see the love of Jesus in us. After people know you care, they will listen to what you have to say.
Simple
Christianity is simple. Love God with all your heart, mind, and soul. The focus is Him. Church does not have to be elaborate, ministry does not have to be dynamic, and we do not have to be something we are not. Doing church is simply loving God and being ourselves with others.
We can sometimes try to be too creative or too elaborate that we lose the focus of pointing to God and the “ministry” becomes what is seen. We have to be careful of that happening.

About Creekside Community Church
Purpose: To Know Jesus and Make Him Known
Change. Our church desires for all of us to realize we are broken vessels without the power to change ourselves because of the destructive nature of sin. But we know THE ONE Who has the POWER to change each of us and we earnestly desire to seek Him together. Jesus, our Savior that conquered the grave and gives us the opportunity to live now and for eternity with Him.
We invite you to come out one Sunday morning and see what the difference between a church and a church family is. We are a family-friendly church that aims to build relationships with one another and our community. We offer childcare during services but parents are free to decide what is best for their family and all children are welcome in the service. As the pastor, I tend to wear jeans and I simply welcome others to come dressed in something you already have in your closet. Our worship style is a blend of traditional and contemporary music genres. Take a journey through our website and get to know a little more about who we are and what we do.
Blessings,

BELIEFS
o Beliefs - Faith Statement
Belief/Faith is not just understanding. It is an understanding that is at the core of my being and directs the decisions of my life.
Salvation is in The Messiah Jesus alone
• WHO died for the sins of the world and
• is GOD WHO came in the flesh
• through the virgin birth by Mary, and
• therefore must be worshipped as THE LORD GOD in our lives.
• Faith/belief/trust in HIM is the demonstration of the transfer of self as the lord god to Jesus as THE LORD GOD in their lives to the glory of GOD THE FATHER
• We are new creations through faith in HIM by the circumcision of THE HOLY SPIRIT.
• THE SPIRIT is working in us producing the love of GOD. It is by The Spirit’s help we are to live unto HIM,
• I don’t change myself, The Spirit of GOD WHO changes in me.
Jesus died for all mankind not just some or selected group (Election)
Relationship with GOD is vitally important. - My faith/belief/trust in Jesus is continual.
The Spirit of GOD is present in us and amongst us.
GOD heals people today. The Spirit is actively working through the gifts given to those in the body of Christ.
