We are a growing community of believers desiring to becoming stronger in our faith, and deeper in devotion to Christ. We desire to impact our community in our region through love for all people, outreach and service. We are a biblically based church, that believes that the gospel under the power of the Holy Spirit transforms lives, families, communities, region and nations.

Edenton First Assembly is a community of believers. What does that mean, the word community? We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God & one another. The bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe together we are stronger.
We strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. We make every effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, by going out to see Chowan, Bertie and Perquimans counties changed.
We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship and ultimately growing closer to God. We value the word of God, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Edenton First Assembly looks to extend grace & hope to all lost & without hope.

We offer Missions Trips on an annual basis to places like Nicaragua, Mexico City and the Philippines. Also, ongoing ministry through Helping Hands on Tuesday and Thursday for Kids clothing exchange, household items and adult clothing.
We also offer a Christian Daycare, Loving Hearts, for families that need a caring a nurturing place for ongoing care of their child. We offer nursery through K4 and after school care.

Helping Hands on Tuesday and Thursday to serve our community. Our main focus is a Kids clothing exchange, household items and adult clothing. Hours are Tuesday and Every Other Saturday 10 - 2 and Thursday from 2 - 6.
BELIEFS
We believe in the infallibility of scripture and that the word of God is profitable to everyone.
We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and on the third day rose again.
We believe in the core of Salvation through Christ, Divine Healing, The Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Second Coming of Christ.
We believe the church and specifically its leaders are to equip the body for ministry and help believers discover & develop their Spiritual Gifts.
We believe that the church mission is to take the gospel to people locally and globally.
