The purpose of Christian Life is three-fold: To strengthen Your Life, Family Life, and Community Life. YOUR LIFE: It is the desire of Christian Life, to see each person in Henderson County grow in their personal relationship with God. We believe that this is what discipleship is all about. To be a disciple is, simply put, to "Follow Jesus." Whether you are just beginning to investigate God and the Bible, or have been a committed Christian for years or anywhere in between, our desire is to help you grow as a disciple of Jesus. How do you grow? We believe growth happens as a result of spending time in prayer (communication with God), studying His Word, and living (practicing) what God says. We make available corporate Bible studies, small group classes, individual home Bible studies as well as other various tools and resources to help you grow in your walk with God. FAMILY LIFE: Today’s families are far from typical. Families today come in many shapes and size, and come from a variety of backgrounds. At Christian Life of Hendersonville we are dedicated to helping the “family” grow in their relationship with God. Christian Life offers personalized counseling, family life resources, and a family friendly church that ministers to each member of the family such as: Sunday School, Kidz Life age 4-12, Young Life events ages 12-18, Women’s & Men’s Life Meetings, and Life Groups that are designed for each stage of life. COMMUNITY LIFE: We believe that a Church should have a positive influence on the world outside of its four walls. This is why Christian Life takes time throughout the year to focus on volunteer efforts throughout Henderson County. Being a smiling and friendly face to the lonely, visiting and praying for the ill, and volunteering to help in the community are just some of the ways that Christian Life of Hendersonville displays God’s love in action to those in the surrounding area.
