Our Mission
For 30 years, The Door’s congregation has ministered to Jacksonville, Camp Lejeune, and the surrounding communities in southeastern North Carolina. Some of these ministries include: regular biblical preaching and teaching by Pastors Dave Szczepanski and Wayne King, special revival services, full-length drama presentations, a weekly coffee house music and drama night. We have a vibrant youth ministry for children from four to thirteen years of age, as well as ministry tailored for young adults from thirteen to twenty. Outside the doors of the church, we minister through weekly home Bible study groups, healing crusades, outdoor concerts, video presentations, and an annual God and Country rally in the Nation’s capitol: Washington, D.C. Our calling and mission is to win souls to salvation through the presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
