Rev. Valerie Hicks

We welcome to our staff, the Reverend Valerie D. Hicks. Valerie began her time at Bethpage on November 1, 2021. Valerie served Stephenson Presbyterian in Monroe for the past 4 years and prior to that was the associate pastor at Steele Creek Presbyterian for 10 years. Valerie has a Masters of Christian Education from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education, Richmond, VA and completed her Master of Divinity at San Francisco Theological Seminary. Valerie loves communicating the faith and helping people grow in their journey as disciples. She believes that the good news of the gospel is for everyone and welcomes all to worship, learn and serve together. Valerie recently married Bill Weatherington and together they have seven grown children and four grandchildren. She enjoys bicycling, water skiing and camping.
