Our Mission is helping people find and follow Jesus. Hopefully, you will see this mission lived out in everything we do.
Our Focus... As you get to know Brookside, you’ll discover that we are trying to be strategic in all that we do and that helps us increase our effectiveness in kingdom work. We think this honors God, and allows us to be good stewards of the resources that He has entrusted us. Three of our ministries rise to the top as those we feel are most important to people in their spiritual development: 1) Sunday Morning Worship. 2) Community Groups. 3) Serving. So as you are getting involved, we recommend that you start here.
About Brookside Church
As a church family, we are trying to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there is relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer and compassionate care for those in need. We would like to have a contagious faith that will influence and encourage our entire community. Our church doors are wide open to people of all backgrounds regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. So whether you are a spiritual seeker who is just starting to ask questions about God and faith, or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at Brookside.

The sole basis of our belief is the Bible, which is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it bears. As the Bible teaches, there is one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each possessing all the attributes of Deity. God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God's saving grace to end our alienation from Him. Salvation comes only through God's saving grace — not human effort — and must be received personally by repentance and faith. Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplishes salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between us and God. He will return to earth to consummate history. The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. The church's role is to glorify God and serve those in need. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Those forgiven through Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God. A complete statement of faith can be found at the EFCA website.
