ABOUT CONKLIN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
Conklin United Methodist Church is a multicultural and multigenerational worshipping faith community with a genuine welcome in South River New Jersey and serving Middlesex County NJ.

BELIEFS
We believe that the gospel of Christ is the hope of the world, and it’s the heart of the church to bring that hope to others. This belief is the foundation of our church and informs all we preach, teach, and practice.
Additionally, we believe:
… in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
… that Jesus is the Son of God, taking on humanity to reveal God to the world. He is the Savior of this world, taking on our sins through death on a cross and resurrecting so that we might live eternally with God.
… the Holy Spirit dwells in believers and empowers them to live Godly lives.
… that the Bible is the inspired word of God.
… in the power of prayer and we encourage all to take their hearts to God through prayer.
… that all people are made in the likeness of God and that salvation is available to them through Jesus.
We are a United Methodist Church, one of 560 churches within the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference. The United Methodist Church is a 12.8-million-strong global church that opens hearts, opens minds and open doors through active engagement with our world. John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as “practical divinity” has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
