Our Mission
Word of Life was called into being in October 2001. The Lord called this church to pray and prepare God’s people to learn as His disciple. We also teach the value of corporate and individual prayer, praise and worship.
We teach the word in such a way that our members will be encouraged to build personal relationships with the Lord and to seek and follow God’s plan for their life.
We are a church focused on finding and ministering to the loss and needy.

About Word of Life Church
Word of Life Church opened its doors in October 2001. One of its main purposes, is like Jesus said, to make disciples. A disciple is a "learner," therefore we encourage and give the tools for members to learn about Jesus. Prayer and praise and worship are integral parts of our teaching. We encourage learning how to praise our Lord and personal prayer life leading into a personal relationship with Jesus. In our weekly Bible studies, members are given homework which leads them to study, learn and explain scriptures. We believe and teach that the Holy Spirit will reveal truth as we learn, pray, praise, worship and listen. We also believe in serving the poor and the elderly. On Christmas Day, we prepare hot meals and gifts for adults and children in homeless shelters in Liberty and Monticello. We have regular visits to our elderly in hospitals and centers. Our goal is for members to build relationships with Jesus and be willing to prepare themselves to move into God's purpose for their lives.

We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father and in the Holy Spirit who was given to us. We believe in the truth of the bible and its application to our Christian Life. We are Christ-centered and always seek to be led by the Holy Spirit in all we do. We also believe and walk in all the gifts of the Spirit as an essential part to building Christ's Body, His church. We believe and teach that God has a plan for each of our lives.
