About Elyria Community Church of the Nazarene
We know visiting a new place can seem overwhelming so we try to make it as easy as possible. Our pastor doesn't wear a suit and you shouldn't feel like you have to either. Most of us dress casual. Come as you are. Our worship style is a blend of both traditonal hymns and contemporary worship music. You will literally hear all types of music here. ECCN is a Christ-centered, Spirit led, family friendly community of believers that exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ. With an array of traditional and non traditional families, ECCN is a warm and familiar place for people from any background. Join us on the journey of knowing God. With an emphasis on evangelism and outreach, you are sure to find a place at Elyria Community Church of the Nazarene.

BELIEFS
Put simply, we believe the Bible. Most importantly we believe in the saving work of Jesus Christ. We believe in one God, eternally existing as 3 persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). We believe in the inspiration of Scripture (the Bible). We believe that all have sinned and need Jesus. He died to pay the penalty for our sins and rose from the dead to give us new life. We believe that God wants to make every one of His followers holy through a process called "sanctification". We believe God still heals.
